Downtown Jersey City borders the Hudson across the river from Manhattan and consists of several neighborhoods—Paulus Hook, the Powerhouse Arts district, Exchange Place, Harborside Financial district, Newport Waterfront, Harsimus Cove, Grove Street, Van Vorst Park, Hamilton Park and the Village. Boasting a five minute (yes, really!) train ride from Exchange Place to WTC and a ten minute ride from Grove Street to Christopher Street Downtown Jersey City is a wonderful place to call home with great schools, a mixture of sky-high condominiums, apartments in charming walk ups, lofts and brownstones to choose from. There are also great restaurants, bars and shopping nearby.
