A vibrant community awaits you.
Jersey City & New York City are more than just locales separated by the Hudson River – they are a collection of neighborhoods loaded with amenities for the locals. Here are a selection of my favorites.
Bergen Lafayette
jersey city, nj
West of Downtown Jersey City and the Grove Street Path train, Bergen-Lafayette is fast turning into a fabulous community populated with stunning brownstones as well as loft condominiums. Located near the Light Rail with connections to WTC or 33rd street, you will get the best bang for buck in this neighborhood.
Bushwick
brooklyn, ny
Bushwick is quickly turning into NYC’s Art capital. Artists love living here. You can find great fixer uppers in the neighborhood and of course you have fantastic bars, restaurants and nightlife to choose from.
Paulus Hook
jersey city, nj
Paulus Hook borders the Hudson across the river in Jersey City. Boasting a five minute (yes, really!) train ride from Exchange Place to WTC this is a wonderful neighborhood to call home with great schools, sky-high condominiums and brownstones to choose from.
Lower East Side
new york, ny
The Lower East side has always been Manhattan’s hidden gem. Nestled south of Houston closer to the East River and Brooklyn, the LES is chock-a-block full of cool fashion boutiques, hip coffee shops, restaurants and bars. You can also get a good deal on an apartment.
